IMPACT FROM HOME – Rachel Eubanks with Plant Paper

Plant PAPER

On the topic of impact, let’s start with the negative ones we’re having on our bodies. Toilet paper, yep. It’s one of those basic necessities that we all use, and it’s never been changed nor challenged since its invention. It just so happens that it’s horrible for us too and the environment.

Rachel came up with a luxurious alternative made from soft, fast-growing, FSC-certified bamboo. Never from trees. Stronger, more absorbent, and made entirely without the use of bleaching agents and other harmful chemicals. PlantPAPER is a 21st century solution to an age-old problem.

When asked how she and her business were adapting to the pandemic she exclaimed that it couldn’t be better.

Evidently when folks believe it’s the end of times they LOVE to stock up on toilet paper. Her biggest problem during this time has been selling out and running low on stock, which for a small business owner is not a bad problem to have.

Rachel also ended up surpassing her crowdfunding goal and winning the #ACTFORIMPACT
